I love that picture...I'm kinda a "yarn freak". And where did you get/find that brand? I've never heard of it or seen it. But, it looks totally awesome. I just love the "earthy" look.
Hazel P.S. If that was your project in the pic, I'm impressed.
I think I also fit into the category of "yarn freak", although I don't believe I've ever identified myself as one until now.... :-)
I found this yarn at a local knit shop called Yarn Birds, but it can also be found online. I'm really loving it and it comes in some great colors. Be aware though, it is expensive. Some dear friends of mine gave me a gift certificate for that store and I had such a great time picking out yarn and a pattern. I'm making a baby sweater and possibly a matching hat - I'll definitely post pictures of the finished project.
Below are a couple links to find this yarn online. The first has the color I'm using (143 Bean) and is selling it at normal retail price. The second doesn't have that color, but the yarn is on sale so it's worth checking out. I hope this helps!
Hello Elizabeth, What beautiful yarn and beautiful work! You have inspired me! Lauren and I love to knit simple things. (we are not quite that advanced yet) and I was just thinking about what project I wanted to begin. You helped me to think of yarn in a completely different way. I think I searched the web and have come up with my project. I can't wait to start it. I will have to let you know when I get it further along. Blessings to you and your family, Mrs. Hope
I am a twenty-three year old woman living at home with my family. I am the second of twelve children and find my greatest joy in being with them and serving my Savior, Jesus Christ. Much of my time is given to working with my dad, helping my mom with the house and kids, apprenticing with a local midwife, and running an Etsy shop with my sisters.
"I have no master but Thee, no law but Thy will, no delight but Thyself, no wealth but that Thou givest, no good but that Thou blessest, no peace but that Thou bestowest. I am nothing but that Thou makest me. I have nothing but that I receive from Thee. I can be nothing but that grace adorns me. Quarry me deep, dear Lord, and then fill me to overflowing with living water." ~ The Valley of Vision
